Comprehensive audiology services are offered at GMH by certified audiologists within a new state-of-the-art department.
Hearing health care is available to patients of all ages and includes the following services:
- Cerumen (wax) removal
- Middle ear evaluations
- Hearing tests for pediatric and adult patients
- Hearing aids sales and repair
- Auditory Brain Stem Response (ABR)/Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) testing
- Electronystagmography or ENG (vestibular/balance testing with treatment)
- Swim Molds/Hearing Protective Devices (HPDS)
GMH hearing specialists at GMH provide counseling and follow-up to patients, their families and other appropriate caregivers, such as physicians and teachers.
