What is Ultrasound Imaging?
Diagnostic ultrasound is a test that uses reflected sound waves to produce an image of organs and other structures in the body. It does not use X-rays or other types of possibly harmful radiation. The Ultrasound Department at Greene Memorial Hospital and HealthPark Imaging in Beavercreek at the Beavercreek HealthPark perform thousands of abdominal, breast, fetal, andpelvic ultrasounds each year.
All our diagnostic ultrasound tests are now performed on brand new, state of the art GE Logic 9 machines at both Greene Memorial Hospital and HealthPark Imaging Center in Beavercreek at the Beavercreek HealthPark.
