Assessments
Greene Hall offers thorough substance abuse evaluations. Sometimes assessments are required by employers, licensing bureaus, family physicians, courts or probation officers. In these cases, as part of the assessment process, letters will be written, if requested, regarding any recommendations made by the counselor. An assessment is required prior to admission to any Greene Hall programs. Drug Free Workplace Program (DFWP)
The bureau of workman's compensation promotes work safety by offering significant premium discounts to companies who develop and maintain a DFWP policy and provide required education and training. Greene Hall provides the following DFWP services: Substance Abuse Professional (SAP)
The US Department of Transportation requires that some employees be assessed by a substance abuse professional when problems occur. An example of this is when an operator of a bus is involved in an accident. The Greene Hall staff includes a SAP, who can provide services and who is available by phone to explain the DOT required process.
